WELLINGTON REFEREES’ ASSOCIA- . TION. The annual meeting of the Wellington Referees’ Association was held last evening. Mr F. O’Connell presided, and there was an attendance of ten. The chairman reported that there was no prepared balance-sheet as the previous secretary had had to go away. However, there was about 30s in hand to start the season with. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mr B. L. Salmon; vice-presidents, Messrs Lithgow and H. Yeoman; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr G. F. Ward; delegate to New Zealand Referees’ Association, Mr H. Yeoman; examination board, Messrs F. O’Connell, H. Yeoman, R. lithgow, A. E. Wells, and B. L. Salmon ; appointment committee, Messrs H.'Yeoman, C. F. Ward, and B. L. Salmon; auditor, Mr A. Q. Barnett. Tho membership fee was fixed at 3s 6d. Xt was decided to meet fortnightly on Tuesdays, starting from April ISth.
