TRAVELLERS AT BOWLS
CANTERBURY- v. WELLINGTON. In connection with the visit of commercial travellers present in Wellington from ail the four centres attending the annual conference a pleasing: departure from the long and tiresome-conference room was indulged in yesterday, when the Canterbury delegates played a game of bowlg with the local delegates on the VVellington Bowling Club's green. The weather was ideal, and the green being in fine order the match was well contested. With its first rink Wellington defeated Canterbury by 19 to 18. while in the second rink Canterbury beat the local team by 28 to 27. Thus the match ended in a draw with 46 points each.
