FIRE AT WADESTOWN
I At 10.39 a.m. yesterday the Fire Brigade received a call to a general store and bakehouse combined at tho corner of Main road and Hanover street. Wadestown, owned and occupied by H. 11. Plummor. Tho firemen extinguished the flames in timo to restrict tho damage to the roof of tho bakehouse, which was partly destroyed. The outbreak is attributed to the overheating of the chimney. The building was covered by a policy in the British Traders' Office, for .£BOO and there was a second policy in that office for .£6OO on the contents with an additional policy of £450 on the contents in the State Office.
