THE TARIFF
NO PROVISION THIS YEAR. In tho courso of an interview with Mr 11. Atmorc, M.P. for Nelson, and Mr George Jackson, of the firm _ of Jackson and Co., the Prime Minister stujtcd that whilst owing 'to the pressure of more important business, it would be impossible to touch the tariff during the coining session, ho expected to be able to undertake tho work of tariff revision in tho session of 1921. He recognises the necessity for a revision.
