POET NICHOLSON YACHT CLUB.
The fixture for to-day is the ladies race. Great interest is being shown in this as there are quite a number of skilled helmswomen who are members of the club. • The following yachts have entered :~Waitangi, Ailsa, Kona, Atalanta, Galatea, lolanthe, Miro, Warehou., The club course, from Clyde quay wharf .Terningham buoy, Ngahauranga, Clyde quay, ’Jerningham # buoy, and back to tile starting line will bo sailed. . . Great interest is being shown in the Alexander Turnbull Memorial Cup. Thds race is to be sailed on Saturday week, and th* club is making arrangements for a steamer to follow this race.
