TURKISH ATROCITIES
FEW ARMENIAN CATHOLICS SURVIVE, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PARIS, March 7. The “Figaro” is informed by an. Armenian Bishop that there are only fifty thousand survivors of 160,000 Armenian Catholics, and that 140 priests have been shot, and four bishops have died of want and exhaustion. Tho Bishop of Marash disappeared, the Bishop, of Diarbokir was hurled alive, the Bishop of Malakia was burned at the stake, and the Bishop of Mandin was shot.
