Major Bolingbroke and Lieutenant Russell have been acquitted on a charge of disturbing the peace in con-' uection with the riot at Charleville ini December. '
Oh December 2nd last there was a riot at CharJeviUe. .where a hand, of returned soldiers decided to clear the town of undesirables. In many confiiots with the police several were injured. further bloodshed was avoided by the police promising to clear thf town.
