RELIGIOUS SERVICE INTERRUPTED
TWO OFFENDERS FINED. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, March 12. James McClure and Robert Shireff were charged at Hie Police Court today with disturbing a religious service. Each was fined £5 and g'von tho option of a month’s gaol. Evidence given by accused and a number of others was to the effect that tho defendants entered a hall whore a service was being conducted and destroyed a banner, threw books about the room, and damaged a staircase.
