FREEZING WORKS DISPUTE
POSITION UNALTERED IN CANTERBURY. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, February 25. It is authoritatively stated that the position in regard to the dispute between the Freezing Works and Allied Trades’ Federation and the employers remains unaltered. Tho men are accepting tho new rates of pay based on tho Auckland rates which the employers offered them, but neither official acceptance nor rejection of th 6 employers’ terms has been received from tho union. There is no go-slow policy in operation.
