POSTMASTER’S LAPSE
WAR LOAN MONEY STOLEN. PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. INVERCARGILL, February 14. Harry Leonard Malt bus, postmaster at Edendale, was charged at court today with theft of £3OO paid him ly a farmer to invest in the War Loan. Accused admitted tho olfencos, stating that ho had been heavily involved through betting, and would replace the amount. Accused was committed for sentence.
