Roberts, Food Controller, prior to relinquishing his duties submitted to OaSbinct a memorandum strongly urging the continuance of the Ministry’s functions, with increased powers. The “Daily Chronicle states that Mr Lloyd George is favourably impressed with the suggestion, and considers the Ministry should control other essential commodities, such af wool, leather, and cotton, with price fixing powers.
