THE TRAMWAY BALLOT
VOTES BEING COUNTED. Members of the Tramways Union yesterday took a ballot on the question of accepting or rejecting the terms of settlement of the tramways dispute arrived at at the recent conference held in Wellington. ' The ballot will be decided according to the number of rotes cast for and against the terms of settlement by the union members in all parts of* the Dominion. The ballot-papers from the other centres of the Dominion are being forwarded to Wellington to" be counted, and consequently it may be some days till the issue is made known.
