A MONTH'S TRAFFIC A£\ T D REVENUE. During the four-week "period which ended <ii January 9th, a total of 2,854,383 passengers were carrlted by the' corporation tramways, an increase on the figures for the corresponding period of last year of 396,775 persons. The revenue shows a proportionate increase from £18,660 fti the previous year to £23,481 this year, and there is an increase shown in the credit balance of the system of £5444. The only substantial decrease shown in the report is in regard to special expenditure, chargeable to revenue, which ia £IB4K). A total of 239,113 car milei were covered during the period as compared with 229.795 in 1919. The revenue tor the period of forty weeks from April Ist, 1919, to January sth, 1920, ¥U £204,810 (an increase .of £40,762 upon the same period .of the previous year); passengers carried 28,274,279 (3,239,620 increase).
