A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. • CHRISTCHURCH, February 7, The Christchurch Regatta Club to-day held its first regatta since 1911, and it was very successful. Results : Senior Double Sculls—Aron. X. Timaru 2, Union 3. Maiden Fours —Union 1, Canterbury 2. Avon 3. Timaru was among the other starters. Youths' Double Sculls—Union 1, Cure 2, Avon 3. Star (Wellington) and Timaru also competed. Senior Fours —Avon 1, Union 2, Petona 3. Timaru also started. Junior Double Sculls—Union 1. Sumner 2, Aron 3. Potone was among the other starters. Youths' Fours—Canterbury 1. Avon 2, Union 3. Timaru and Star (Wellington) also started. Maiden Double Sculls—Cure 1. Union 7, Petono 3. Timaru and Star (Wellington) were the other starters.
