Transportation has been completely disorganised, owing to a blizzard which baa been raging /for two days. Tho telephone service has practically collapsed, and thousands of suburban resident's have been unable to leavo their homos. Heavy seas are sweeping over local seaside resorts, and millions of dollars of damage has been done, in some cases summer homes and bungalows being swept to sea. Shipping has been t/cd up on tho ico-coVered-harbour. Tho old Dominion-liner Princess Anno was driven ashore at Rockaway, and is in a precarious position. There are 104 people aboard.
