Tho man was able to walk to the train to go into tho hospital in Christchurch. Tho men's quarters oh the Mararoa were fumigated during the day, and -the union officials were agreeable ‘to the men-sailing in the ship to-night, bub the men themselves refused to go until the v'csSel' had been thoroughly fumigated from'end to end. The whole of the crew went ashore and the fumigation, work is being carried out to-night. The ALararoa’s sailing for Wellington has been postponed till - to-morrow night. The Wakatu took the North Island mails; but as she calls at Kaikoura, she will not roach Wellington until to-morrow night. I
