MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF IN CRITICAL CONDITION. i ' iA married man named Frank Fen by, aged about 48 years, a bedstead manufacturer,' shot himself in the head shortly before midnight last night at his residence at 39, Cambridge terrace. Dr Palmer, in response to a • call, examined Pen by, and ordered Iris removal to the hospital, ■where lie was admitted in an unconscious condition about 12.30 o’clock this niorning. Fenby, who has a grown-up family, sdems to have imagined lie was developing an attack of influenza, from which ho had suffered severely during the epidemic over a year ago. Ho. was much depressed, and this ' appears to have prompted hhu to take his life, penby placed the muzzle of a, revolver to his head. Inflicting a severe wound:On latest inquiries this morning Jus condition was reported to bo critical.
