INTERPROVTNCIAL MATCHES. Press Association. OHRISTCHUROH. November 7. At a meeting of tho executive of the Canterbury Cricket Association correspondence was received from the Otago, Wellington and Auckland associations with reference to interprovincial fixtures. Members of the Canterbury association advocated cutting out the home-and-home matches, and it was 'suggested that Otago be invited to send a team to play Canterbury at Christchurch at Christmas time and to play Wellington at Wellington at New Year time and Auckland in Auckland on a subsequent date. It was decided to write to the other associations accordingly. HEATHCOTE-WILLIAMS SHIELD. Press Association. CHRISTCHUROH. November 7. The secretary' of the New Zealand Cricket Council announces that King's College, Auckland, will play a challenge match against the Auckland Grammar School, holders of the Heathcpte-Wil-liams Shield, on November 28th and 29th.
