RIFLE SHOOTING
ANNUAL MEETING OF KABOlil CLUB.
At the annual meeting of tho Karori Defence Rifle Club Acting-President W. Judd was in tho chair. It was announced that a silver cup for competition had been presented by Mr J. AI. Bertram. Tho cup is to ho shot for twice a year, and must bo won twice in succession or three times at intervals to becoma tho winner’s property. It was decided to open the iseason on October 11th, provided the train service is satisfactory. Air ]> Daniel reported that at a meeting of riflemen it hod been decided to' hold tho next group meeting on January
22nd and 21th, 1920.,_ .On. ..the first day the cadets' ’matches would be held, and the best fifty of these lads would fire off their rounds on the second day, when the Territorials and riflemen would hold tholf shoot.
