MILK MUDDLES
To the Editor “N.Z. Times.” Sir,—Tho troubles of tho turn-over are more imaginary than real, and the suggestions and insinuations thrown outT though some of them may ultimately prove true, are in the meantime previous. The mass of complaints boll down 9-3 per cent., showing that there is an unnecessary panic on the part of the public and a woeful misconception. Then there are plenty of people ‘“trying it on,” with a view of taking advantage of the general confusion to got unfair preference, and more, again, making mountains out of molehills. Finally, for the present, there are those wlio have been evading the position by what is vulgarly known as double-banking. Some highly-placed folk have been the biggest offenders in this irregularity, and their howl has boon the loudest, and is still responsible for a groat deal of unnecessary confusion. HENRY BODLEY.
