CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR UNION
■The monthly meeting of the Wei-: lington Provincial Christian Endeavour, Union was held in the Vivian street: Baptist Church on Friday last. There, was a good attendance of delegates. The chief business was the nomination, of officers for 1019. and the arrange-' ments for the convention to be-held on April Ist, 2nd, and 3rd. • The following officers were elected for , the coming year:—President, Rev. Ur Pinfold (re-elected) ; vice-presidents, Air; li. J. Brahin. (re-elected) and Mrs, Walker; secretary, Mr A. Kohbs (reelected); assistant-secretary, Mr R. CBurton; treasurer, Miss West (re-elect-, ed): visitor to junior tocietics ; Mr R. O. Burton (re-elected); organist, Miss, Laurenson. It was decided to hold the annual convention in April, opening with a, big' Christian ' 'Endeavour' prohibition, “rally”' in the" Vivian street Baptist, Church; juniors’ day in the Taranaki, street schoolroom, with a tea meeting for the juniors and a juniors’ consecration meeting following; and. the Christian Endeavour consecration and indue-, tion meeting in Webb street Methodist ■ Church. The speakers at the latter, will he the president and the Rev. E., Drake. The union is arranging a musi-. cal programme for these meetings, ine junior and senior choir is to be under the direction of Mr Musker.
