AN OVERSEAS BANK
TO SPECIALISE IN FOREIGN BUSINESS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association, LONDON, February 18. The “Sunday Times” states that a group of banks in the city is subscribing the bulk of the capital for a projected Overseas Bank, .which will specialise in foreign business, notably the granting of extensive acceptance accommodation needed after international trade is resumed, and which will ultimately surpass normal dimensions. The promoters point out that the constituent hanks will be spared the expense of opening separate branches abroad.
