Good audiences attended tho Wellington competitions on Saturday, and the fine- programmes submitted, more especially in the events in which the competitors had to choose their own items, were greatly appreciated. : In announcing the result of the choirs competition, the judge, Mr Harold Grcgsori, gave tho competitors some- excellent advice in regard to both voice production and the proper interpretation of the selections rendered.
