INVISIBLE LINKS
COMMON IDEALS OF BRITISH EMPIRE. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. NEW YORK, February 14. Mr Charles Grasty, Paris oorrespon- | dent of the "Nerv York Times," says that nothing impresses the American 'peace delegates more than the presence tin Paris of the representatives of the self-governing British Dominions, who, I like themsolves, represent young nations, and civilisations in the process of development. The Americans see in the Empire the symbol of what the League of Nations will become. It appeals to the" American imagination to see the .association of Dominions bound to the Mother Country by invisible links of a common ancestry, a common purpose, and common ideals.
