The Red Cross organisation reports that from May, 1316, to November 80th its income totilled £169,579 and tho expenditure iJ122,724, including salaries and administration- £3427, field staff salaries and allowances £8417, free comforts £31,:69E>. Tho balancesheet shows the as; tots to be £82,658. including canteen stock £52,272, and unredeemed New ' Zealand coupons £22,088; but the outstanding liabilities on account of tra/ding total £20,928. Tho bank ovcrdraJ»t is £13,873. The net profit on trading operations was' £15,214, which was added to the free comforts fund for dugouts, trenches, and base camps, making the latter £46,505.
