Another wedding of interest took place on Wednesdav at Christ Church, the Rev. H. Reeve officiating. The bride was Miss (Florence Verna Williams, second daughter of Mr T. B. W'illiams, and the bridegroom Mr Phillip P. Wimsett, of Wellington. The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine, with bridal veil and orange blossoms. She was attended by her sister. Miss Olive Willliams. and Miss Madge Wimsett, who wore pale pink crepe de chine gowns and llMturo hats, -little Misses Ena and Hetty Williams were also in attendance and wiore frocks of white embroidered voile with pink sashes. The bridesgroom and his best man. Mr W. Bennett, are returned soldiers. The bridal party were, entertained bv Mr (ad Mrs T. B. Williams at their residence,: River Bank, and later Mr and Mrs Wimsett left for the Isouth: Mrs Speed and her daughter, Miss Estra Speed, left on Wednesday en route for England. Before leaving Wanganui Miss Estra Speed gave a farewell afternoon tea to a number of ier girl friends in the lounge at George and Kersley's. The room looked very, charming with the long tables arranged most daintily, the decorations bolng carried out in shades of blush pink. , Each of the guests wfls presented with kew-pie as a keepsnke.
