AT THE CAMPS
Defence headquarters were not able to get into communication with Feathorston Camp yesterday, but the reports from Awapuni and Trentham Camps show that the disease is gradually subsiding. At Awapuni there are fiftean patients in hospital, all of whom are suffering from influenza, but there aro no serious cases. No member of the corps reported sick at the parade yesterday. Five deaths have taken place since Saturday at Trentham. Yesterday morning there was an attendance of six at tho sick parade, four of whom trcxe admitted to hospital. The number remaining in hospital totals 553, the influenza cases being 456, of which 27 are reported as serious. During tho course of . tho afternoon Featherston was communicated with and reported that 67 men attended the sick parade and one of the mirnbor was admitted to hospital. The nnmbor remaining in hospital was 288, and three death's took place during Sunday night.
