M.P.), representatives of the Union Company, (the ship's ■aeents).-and members of the crew of the barque. Flags.-were Sown at half-mast at the Town Hall and the Captain "W. Wflhlstrom returned to Wellington from Wanp.-.nui last evening to re'aume command of the Invereargill. Mr W. T. Youns, secretary of the Sonmen's TJnion, has issued the following notice to seamen:—"Xotico is hereby given that any man joining, a ship roust get his effects fumigated in the luggage shed on the wharf, and obtain a certificate that the effects have been fumigated, before bcins allowed to take Brie effects on board the ship."
