RAILWAY MISHAP
ANOTHER MAIN TRUNK BLIP
The Railway Department received news that at midday yesterday an engine and three or four wagons of a mixed train were derailed between Mangaweka and Utiku. on the Main Trunk line, bv a land slip of considerate magnitude. Fortunately the mishap caused no personal injury. Tho slip is due to the unprecedented amount of wet weather recently. It is anticipated that it will tako some time to clear the lino. In tho meanwhile through passengers will have to oe transhipped, and this will occasion some delay. The goods traffic on tho line will be held up until tho obstruction has been removed.
