Fletcher applied for permission to subdivide section 49, Heatherlea settlement (24a 2r 23p) and transfer a portion, about 10 acres, to Mrs H. E. B. Taylor, wife of the lessee of the adjoining section 50.—Refused. Tht Patea County Council asked permission to expend some of the thirds at present in hand from section 24, block 6, Nukumaru S.D., on repairs to a stock bridge giving access to the Lower Waitotara Valley road.—Approved. S.'H. Rasmußsen, who on June 29th last intimated his acceptance of a renewal lease of Education reserve section 30a, blocks 11 and 14, Mangaone 18 acres at a rental of £73 10s per annum, wrote asking that the mattei be reopened and the rent fixed by arbitration.—Refused. The Under-Secretarv forwarded a copy of a memorandum received from the Solicitor-General as to aggregation, in its relation to Education reserves.— Received. t The Under-Secretary wrote with legard to the proposed constitution of the Maungaroa special roading district, as recommended bv the board at its last meeting, and stated it is not clear that the roads are in an incomplete Btate; and that special roading moneys may not be used lor repairs.—It was decided to rescind the board's resolution of August 29th. 1918, constituting the special road district. The Kaitieke Countv Council forwarded a petition from the selectors of 29 sections, extending from near Raurimu out' "to the Wanganui river, asking that their sections be constituted a special roading district.—Refused.
