MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL
A meotine of tho Miramar Borough Council wa3 held last evening, there beintf present Councillors S. H. Underwood (Deputy Mayor), Al. Traoy. Green, H. K. Robertshaw. and 0. A. .Chapman. The authorities of Soots College wrote ask:n« for the rates on four acres of the collepta crounda ba remitted. As the around is not beitfß used for educational purposes, the building not yet having been completed, there wa« no liability on the council to remit the rates. It was moved that tho rates be continued until such time as the grounds be used for school purposes. It was decided that the by-law relating to wandermir stock should, bs> revised, and steps aro to be. taken to have the by-law worded suitably.
