MANAWATU SHOW
Those who aro interested in art. technical, and public school work and photography are reminded that entries for these competitions at Palmerston North Show close with the secretary. Box 85, on October sth. Owing to the scattering of kennel enthusiasts there will not be any dog show this year, and the 1 all usually occupied by the canines will be given over for the exhibitions of motors. Special prizes which will strongly appeal to horse lovers appear in the prize list. The champion jumper receives 50 guineas this year, and the best lady rider on the flat a 30-guinea set of furs. All live stock ond competition entries close on October 12th. ami those interested not provided with a schedule may obtain them by sending post card to the secretary.
