A large meeting of the Taihape branch of the Amalgamated bociety of Railway Servants passed tho following resolution:—Wo hereby protest against tho action of tho Railway Department in deciding to increase tho service of night goods, trains. We consider that tho convenience of., the travelling public should first bo considered, and if the department finds it necessary to increase the number of night trains, tho. night express should he resumed. . -
