To the Protestant Electors of Wellington Central: Ladies and Gentlemen,—The uprise and growth of the P.P.A. has made it clear "to all thoughtful Protestants thaP everr ‘ candidate for a seat in Pftrliar mciu ,• . We therefore ask your consideration of the following facts, namely.— ■ , Mr Fraser, the nominee of the Social Democratic Party, which is an organisation avowedly opposed to loyalty to the King and Empire, is an Anti-Cou-BC Mr W. T. Hildreth, the Government nominee, though nominally a Protestant, evidenced his principles by endeavouring. as a member of the vary Council, to thwart the Protestants of Wellington organising by refusing them the use of the Town Hall for a V.ir.A. gathering, notwithstanding that the Town Hall is the property of the citizens, of whom the great majority* are Protestant. Such an action justifies his repudiation h*- all Protestants. To elect him to Parliament would be to further imperil our liberty and strengthen the anti-Protestant attitude of the Govern. “llr’ M. J.
