NEW ZEALAND'S SHARE
WAR EXPENDITURE TO DATE A TOTAL OF £44,102,700. A statement submitted 'to the Minister for Defence (Sir James Allen) by Major-General Sir A. W. Robin (G.0.C., Now Zealand Defence Forces), shows that New Zealand’s total expenditure until June 30th, 1918, on war expenses account was £44,162,706. The imprests outstanding amount to £4,093,235, making a grand total of £48,255,942.
