A meeting of Hillside cm* ployees to-day ..passed a motion protesting strongly- against the dismissal of 'a' litter' wiio was ordered to transler to Greymouth, but did not do so, aa ho considered it was impossible to move or leave'lns invalid wife. The meeting demanded the reinstatement of the member concerned. It was stated at the meeting that representations hue been made to the department without success
