CAMP NOTES

FEATHERI3TON. The Camp Commandant, Colonel N. P. Adams, C.M.G., has approved of the following -temporary appointment:—Sergeant A. D. tiny, ef the 49th Field Artillery, to be battery sergeant-major. Tho following n.c.o.’s of the Puysicat Training Staff have departed for Trentham Gamp:—Corporals W. Gemmell, T. J 3 Cooper L. J. Hunt, K. V. Kitchener, K. A. Rowe, L. A. Tercel, C. B. Watkin, L. Laurenson, McCullagh, Taylor, and S. M. Tully. Second-Lieutouant L. Moritzscn, holder of both the Military Cross and the Military Medal, has been transferred to Trcnthorn for the 43rd Infantry Rein--I'oreement. The following n.c.o.’s and men of the Field Artillery Reinforcements have been awarded the signallers’ efficiency badge :—Corporal G. Gilchrist, Bombardier N. Bright, Gunners E. J. Wiseman, N. .1. Wiseman, N. H. Rawson, ii. R. Dayman, N. 11. Norris, J. B. Gillbanks, .1. H. Chapman, \V. Trevartlien, M. M. Enting, and P. Foster. The undermentioned n.c.o.’s and men of the 48th Specialists Company, having obtained tho necessary number - of points in the musketry course for New Zealand Reinforcements, are entitled to wear markmen’s badges: ■ — SergeantMajor P. V. Stainton. Sergeant J. K. Fotheringham, Lance-Corporal, U. F. Laslott, Privates J). Catley, G. Connail, W. 11. McCorkindale. J. T. Rickard, G. Robinson, 11. L. D. West. Q.M.S. .). M. Graham,- Lance-Corporal T. L. Forrest, Privates W. M. Angus. L. Chivers. C. A. Matthews, L. O’Donnell, F. Robinson. D. S. Thorburn. The undermentioned n.c.o. having obtained 142 points in the musketry course, is adjudged the best shot in the 43th Specialist Company and is entitled to wear the badge provided for:—Sergeant C. M. Stewart.
