AVELLINGTON 'v. OTAGO. The annual telegraphic match between tho Wellington and Otago representative teams will eventuate at the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Saturday evening. As tho match is . being played without the .use of clocks, punctuality is essential, and all players are, requested to he in attendance at G p.m. sharp. Tho Otago team is a . stronger combination than that which defeated Canterbury, and a. hard contest is anticipated. The Otago team will be further strengthened by tho inclusion of Mr J. H. F. Hamel. Rev. Priberg, and Mr H. H. Henderson. Tlio following is the state of the teams: — Wellington : Barnes, Mason, Davies. Mackay, Kelling, Still, James, Godtschalk, Gyles. Loo, McNair, Taylor, Bruton, and Clark. Emergencies; White. Tanner and Faulkner. Otago: R. A. Clelahd, O. Balk, P. N. Stewart, .1. H. F. Hamel, C. Amptman, W. G. Stenhouse, A. Ellis, G. D, Wright L. D. Coombs, S. S. Myers, A. B. AAhird. AV. H. Allen, Rev. Friborg, and H. it. Henderson. Emergencies: D. Harris, Hastings, W. AVarmun, and J. Vcay. Mr Cluttcn will umpire for Otago in AA’ollington, and the usual scruti- : ncers will he appointed.
