MAORI HISTORY AROUND LEVIN
Tho sub-division of tho 11.000-acre estate of tho late Mr J. K. McDonald, near Levin, brings to mind the historical fights between tho Maori tribes in this district. An interesting account is contained in a free booklet issued by the auctioneers, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., Wellington. The first enlo is to bo held at Levin on Wednesday, September 18th, 1918. Puller particulars are given in an announcement to be found in the auction columns.
