BLIND MAY READ BY SOUND
A VALUABLE INVENTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 29, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 28. Dr Fournier Dalbor's optophone was successfully used at tho British Scientific Exhibition, enabling the blind to read by sound. The instrument transmits sound according to the shape of tho letters.
