For desertion and losing by - neglect accoutrements. Private F: .J. Skinner. Details (late 39th Reinforcement). 120 days’ detention; for desertion, Private J. Clarke, Details (late 4-nd Reinforcement), 90 days’ detention; and Private J. D. Barclay, 120 day#’ detention, u . In each of the above upases,, although the sentences have been confirmed, they have bean mitigated so that if the accused embarks for active service outside of New Zealand, then upon arrival at the final port of disembarkation the unevpired portion (if any) of the sentence shall be remitted and the Now Zealand records endowed accordingly.
