Sir Douglas Haig's aviation repott states: Thunder and rainstorms yesterday hindered air work. Wo dropped thirteen tons of bombs on the Zeebrugge mole, billets at Estailcs and Mervillo, also on aerodromes and dumps. We brought down ten aeroplanes, and drovo down four. We shot down six balloons on fire. Nino of our machines are missing. Our night-flyers dropped 500 bombs on railway junctions at Ssclin and on billets. All returned. A large enemy bomber descended behind our lines.
