RIVERINA FROM SYDNEY. Well up to time tho Htiddart-Parkor steamer Riverina arrived at Wellington at 7.30 o'clock yesterday morning from Sydney and berthed at No. 1, south, Queen's wharf. Tho vessel left tho NewSouth Wales port at noon on Friday, and had fine weather until Monday morning, when sho encountered strong northeasterly winds, moderate head seas, with heavy rain till nearing port. Tho Riverina Drought 1700 tons of cargo for this port, but hor discharge was greatly hampered by heavy rain yesterday. The vessel is timed to sail from Wellington at noon to-morrow for Sydney and iiobart.

MONOWAI'S MOVEMENTS. The Monowai is to leave Auckland today for Napior and Wellington, omitting her usual call at Gisborno. The vessel is expected at Wellington on Friday night, and. will sail on Saturday direct for Dunedin. After discharge at Dunedin the Monowai will withdraw for survey and overhaul.
