NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
It would appear that the big Show opening on Tuesday is going to be bigger than ever. From the many applications for accommodation from all over the Dominion which are pouring in on the secretary, it would also appear that it is going to be attended by a larger number of outside visitors than usual. At tho present time tho Show buildings are humming with tho bustle of preparations. There are many new exhibitors in tho Show this year, both Jn tho British trades section and in tho other divisions. A great attraction will bo an exhibition of big game trophies from Canada kindly lent by Mr James Dunning, of Bemuara. Tho hall hitherto used as a din-ing-room will bo filled with exhibits and tho luncheons will ho served under tho grandstand. A groat crowd is expected both on Wednesday for tho football matches and" on Thursday for tho sheep dog trials,. in which latter event there arc 41 dogs entered. A most enjoyable and instructive time is looked for this week in Palmerston North.
