WEATHER PROSPECTS
(By the Dominion Meteorologist.)
Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for strong a nd variable winds with westerlies prevailing northwards of Kawthia and East-Capo, and increasing easterly to northerly winds elsewhere. A continuance of unsettled, cloudy and misty, ivea.tb.er may be expected, with heavy rain generally and snow in the high country in the South. Barometer unsteady, -with a falling tendency.
