This is to ho written from the viewpoint of the Soldiers, and will he an intimate, interesting, and vivid record of their experiences, rather than simply a Military History. This will be in addition to the Official Imperial History of tho War. TO SECURE reliable and authoritative information at first hand, it is dosirablo that the Author should have accoss to Soldiers' private , letters, diaries, eketohes, and photographs.
