TO SOLDIERS AND THEIR FRIENDS mHH NEW ZEALAND GOVX ERNMENT has decided to publish a History recording the part taken by the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the War. This is to ho written from the viewpoint of the Soldiers, and will he an intimate, interesting, and vivid record of their experiences, rather than simply a Military History. This will be in addition to the Official Imperial History of tho War. TO SECURE reliable and authoritative information at first hand, it is dosirablo that the Author should have accoss to Soldiers' private , letters, diaries, eketohes, and photographs. BBLATTVES ANI> FRIENDS of Soldiorß who possess suitablo in- ■ formation are requested to forward such to tho Director of Base Records, Wellington. This applies to future events as well as to accounts of past incidents. Bvory care will bo taken of the material eont in, and after extracts havo been made it will bo returned intact to the sender.
