The Kamo arrived at Wellington last evening from Greymouth after an exceedingly rough and protracted passage.

The Komata is to sail from Westport to-night with a full load of coal for Wellington. The steamer Karu will leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton and Mussel Beach.

The Poherua was to leave Westport at midnight/last night for Wellington with a full cargo of coal. The Ngahere is to leave Gisborne tomorrow for Lyttelton with a load of sheep. The Monowai is due at Wellington at midday to-day from Auckland and Napier, and will sail to-night for Lyttelton and'Dunedin. The coastal steamer Defender is duo at Wellington to-night with a full load of produce from Lyttelton. Mr W. L. Thomson has joined the Patecna as second engineer in place of Mr A. Douglas. . , , ■ The steamer Calm is due at Wellington to-morrow morning from Wanganui, and will sail in the evening for Dunedin and Timaru. , The coastal steamer Tamtfi is due at Wellington to-morrow _ morning from Wanganui, and is to sail on tho return trip in the evening. Tho steamer Mann is now expected at Wellington on Thursday morning from Wanganui. The vessel is to leave here on Thursday evening for Picton and Wanganui ~ The To Anau, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Bluff and Dunedin, is* to get away to-day for Napier and Gisborne with transhipments. The Anchor Company's steamer Regains is now expected at Wellington about 9 o’clock this morning from Tarakohe, and is to sail this evening for Nelson and West Coast. The Ngatoro left Wellington last flight for Wanganui to complete the discharge of her cargo of coal. The Vessel is to sail from there to-morrow for Grey--t.onHi. where she will load, probably for Lyttelton. The Nikau. which is undergoing her overhaul at Nelson, will leave that port on Saturday for Wellington to go up on •he patent slip on Monday to ’complete her overhaul. Tho vessel will resume running from Wellington nt 5 p.m. next Tuesday. The steamer Wavorlev will be bronchi: off the Wellington patent slip at 8 o’clock this morning to permit a sailer to go up on the cradle for re-caulking. Tho Waveriev will then he taken un on the slip to have her rudder shipped, and will be re-launched to-morrow morning. She is lived to leave Wellington tomorrow evening for Patea.
