A circular, issued in February last by General Richardson (G. 0.0. Now- Zealand Expeditionary Forces,. Eng.and) states that officers of the N.Z.TII*. who, in the opinion of a Medical Board, will bo unfit for military duty for not leas than four months, but are fit to undergo a course of educational study, may apply to Headquarters. N.Z.E.h for permission to take a short course of instruction at Oxford University. Preference, it is stated, will bo given to those officers whoso period' of ■treatment is likely to extend-to six months or more, and especially to those who are likelv eventually to read for a degree. Officers" will reside in one or other of the colleges of the university, and will be amenable to university and college rules’ and discipline.
