SWIMMING CARNIVAL
IN AXD OF THE TEPID BATHS FUND.
At a combined meeting of the ladies auxiliary and the management committee of the Wellington Boys’ Institute and S. A. Rhodes’. Home for Boys, held ; n the institute buildings, it was decided to hold a swimming carnival at the public Up 1(1 swimmin gbaths on Tuesday, May 21st, with a view to raising the sum of J-Rm to ho donated to the bath funds. The swimming programme will be in the hands of the Wellington Swimming Centre and Royal Life Saving Society officials. The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Boys Institute will organise the stalls.^ the following being the committees appointed : Cake Stall—Mesdames A. Wilson (convener) G. A. Troup, Bruce, Christie, and J. 3. McLaurin, Misses Cable and McLeod. ■ _ . Sweets Stall—Mesdames M. Lachmann (convener). L, T. Watkins, Misses Rothenberg, Vietch. and M. McLeod. Flower Stall—Mesdames E. H. Barrett (convener), C. S.
