The South Canterbury Farmers’ Cooperative Association lias had a successful year, and under ordinary conditions would have been able to make a full distribution of profits. The now taxation prevents this. Provision has been mad© for part of the usual discounts and commission rebates, a dividend, or 6 per cent, on ordinary shares, anti of 7i per cent, on ordinary shares, and ft bonus of 4 per cent, te tho staff. Tho directors have decided to invest £IO,OOO in the War Loan.
